What Does it Mean to be a Rep?
You are the communication link for the Association at your school. You are the one all your members are looking to for answers. Does this mean you know them all? Of course not, but you know how to find them just contact your Association leadership or your UniServ Director. We are here to help. If your members don't hear from you, your members feel as if we are doing nothing! What Should the Leadership Role of a School Rep Look Like? Kind, Caring, a Concerned Listener, and above all Confidential! This job is all about relationships and attitude! Remember we get way more done through relationships then we ever do by force. Your members need someone to turn to when they are in need. Someone to listen and keep the conversation confidential. Someone that can be positive and help them with their concerns. Never share their information with anyone until you are sure they want you to do so. |
